>[September 12, 07] - Feedelix introduces BoonaNET, an agricultural commodity price information system based on Feedelix's SMS and Mobile IM solution. The first deployments in six important agricultural regions in Ethiopia were successfully implemented in August 2007. A similar system, BharatiFasalNET is slated to be deployed in India in December 07. Coming in a period where Ethiopia is currently experiencing a runaway inflation in core food items and grains such as Teff, Berbere, and sesame seeds, Feedelix's first integrated Ethiopic-script based commodity price information system is proving useful in providing real-time market information for farmers, traders, economists, and interested policy makers. >[June 5, 07] - Feedelix is invited to the prestigious "TEDGlobal 2007" event held in Arusha, Tanzania in June 2007. Other guests include Bono, the CEO of Gates Foundation and leading entrepreneurs around the world. TED organizes two annual events for industry leaders and investors in the US; one in Monterrey, CA and another one in New York City. More.

>[December 26, 06] - Feedelix completes a contract for Nokia on verification of localization for texts for an emerging market. The project was completed on time and is a recognition of Feedelix's core expertise in mobile communication in Non-Latin script environments.

>[October 4, 2006] - Feedelix becomes the first company to enable the successful sending and receiving of live Hindi SMS message from India to users in the US. On October 4, 2006, a Feedelix user in Mumbai and a subscriber of AirTel of India became the first person to ever send & receive a Hindi SMS from a mobile phone in India to a user in San Diego, California. >[December 1, 06] - Feedelix releases the alpha version of FeedelMessenger, a desktop application for chat and SMS in Ethiopic. The application enables users to chat online - for the first time - in Ethiopic. The Hindi and Chinese vesions will be released in Q4 of 2007. Download here.
